Louise Doucet has managed a wide range of research programs as well as the strategic application of infield learning for a diversity of public and private sector clients in Canada and the United States. Her interests continue to lie in observing and understanding the physical and emotional needs, habits, motivations and communication behaviours of people from all socio-economic backgrounds and in a diversity of business sectors.  

Louise has been Vice President, Director of Strategic Research for two major advertising agencies, an independent research advisor, and President of Generations Research from 1996 to 2004. She has a degree in Cultural Anthropology from York University, and is fluently bilingual.

Liz Torlée is a marketing and research executive with over 25 years in the business, including being the President and CEO of two major advertising agencies. From 2002 - 2004 she ran the Kaléidovision Inc. research company. At TerraNova, she is focusing on the work she loves best - helping clients to understand and realize the full potential of their companies and brands and develop exciting roadmaps for the future.

Liz has initiated many studies on the way society works, the changing roles, the trends and undercurrents, the macro and micro influences at play and the marketing and branding implications as a result of these. She has contributed guest columns to Marketing magazine and has spoken at numerous industry conferences.

Industry involvement

Liz and Louise have been members of various advertising, marketing and market research associations and have lectured at the University of Toronto and the Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre as well as a number of other educational institutions.
